Spring Break with the Kids at the Chicago Aquarium

Shedd Aquarium The highlight of our visit was the 4D movie at the entrance, all about little penguins - too cute for words! The 4D experience was a blast, even my 3-year-old daughter told me, “It’s fun!” after watching it. 🐧🎬 Another really fun area was the mini playground for little kids at the penguin exhibit. My two kids had a blast playing in there. 🚸🥳 The dolphin show was also very enjoyable. But I felt that the aquarium’s facilities were a bit outdated, and the overall impression was just so-so… I might not have seen everything, so I’ll give it a more thorough visit next time. Suddenly remembered, I should add that the first-floor lakeside restaurant is fantastic! It’s a bit pricey, but the lake view is stunning. Finding a time outside of meal hours to sit at a window table, eating while enjoying the lake view, is quite pleasant. The snack area on the basement level is also nice, where you can watch the little dolphins while munching on popcorn and ice cream. 🍿🍦 #Chicago #chicago #aquarium
