Spring Day Trip from DMV｜Exploring Richmond VA 🍃

Spent a weekend in Richmond – just a 1.5-hour drive from Arlington! 🚗💨 Perfect for a day trip or a short getaway. 🍖 ZZQ Texas BBQ First stop: ZZQ – no reservations, so we lined up for about 20-30 minutes. Meat is sold first-come, first-served! We ordered: Beef Brisket Beef Ribs Pork Shoulder The beef was absolutely incredible – literally the most tender I’ve had on the East Coast 😍 Melt-in-your-mouth goodness! 🖼️ Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) Next, we visited VMFA – and it’s FREE! 🎨 Loved the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean galleries. So many stunning details – truly impressive! 🌸 Maymont Park Finished the day at Maymont – beautiful Japanese and Italian gardens 🌿🏯 The cherry blossoms were in full bloom – perfect for photos! 📸 Saw several couples taking wedding photos there too – such a romantic spot!
