Spring Escape to Canterbury! A Picture-Perfect Painting Town 🖼️
Every day feels like a spring outing with this glorious sunshine!! (LOL at the internet saying Britain "stole" Spain's sunlight ☀️🇪🇸) Discovered an insanely photogenic spot —a drooping magnolia branch you can pose behind like you're sniffing flowers! 🌸 Your squad will get insta-worthy shots from this angle. 📍 Westgate Gardens 🚞 Super easy from London: 1. Tube to King’s Cross 2. Walk to St. Pancras International (follow signs inside the station) 3. Train to Canterbury West (yes, *West*! The park is 3-5 mins from the station!) The blooms are gorgeous right now (though not as tall as last year’s, so slightly trickier for photos 😢). The water sparkles under sunlight—magical ! Bring a picnic mat—half the town is sunbathing here ! 🧺 📍 The Crooked House A delightfully wonky bookstore Dickens wrote about! (Check opening hours—I got locked out today 😭) ⚠️ PSA: Wear layers! Sunny but freezing in shade + crazy windy. Pick a calm day for best pics! P.S. Canterbury’s tiny—the photogenic area is just one flower patch . Many pair it with Dover’s White Cliffs , but that’s a marathon day . Choose wisely! #SpringInUK #CanterburyBlossoms #DayTripGoals #BritishSpring #PetalsAndPicnics
