🌸 Spring in Reading: A Fairytale Hike Just Outside London

This weekend, I joined the UCL Student Union for an idyllic 19km hike around Reading—and every step felt like walking through a postcard! 🚶🏻‍♀️ Route Highlights 🌿 Picture-Perfect Landscapes: Vast golden fields, ancient woodlands bursting with bluebells, and charming Cotswold-style villages (straight out of Harry Potter!). Gentle rolling hills—challenging enough to feel rewarding, but no technical difficulty. ☀️ Spring Magic: Dappled sunlight through leafy canopies, birdsong everywhere, and that fresh "green" scent! 📍 Logistics 🚂 From London: Take the train from Paddington to Goring & Streatley (direct to the trailhead!). 👗 What to Wear: Bright/light colors for photos (think: mustard yellows or sky blues). Sunhat + sunscreen—those open fields get toasty! 📸 Photo Ops Galore Woodland Glades: Sunbeams filtering through oak trees. Village Lanes: Thatched cottages with climbing roses.
