We love this park. The splash pad is so much fun and my twins love the swings. There are two playgrounds, one for older and one for younger kids, tennis courts, chess tables, basketball court (pending hoop placement), picnic tables, grills, an amphitheater, and two large fields. There is a public bathroom which is surprisingly clean but very run down with no towels or soap.
I took away a star because there is so much litter. I think part of the problem is that there aren't enough trashcans around.
Unfortunately there is a fair amount of crime. There are people selling and using drugs in broad daylight. Recently a young man was shot right next to the park and he passed away. The police are...

It's maintained quite often & has a tennis court, toddler playground, bigger kid playground, swings, water spray area, benches for bbq's or parties, bbq pits, and they have doggy doo bags to clean up after walking your pup. We walk our dog here all the time & he loves it. Only negatives are the restrooms & the sand in the playgrounds. Sand is too messy. Either way, we visit this park frequently. Read moreIt was a warm day. New children's playground however I have a 16 mo. Old grandson who I took his 1st outing there. Trash of metal cuttings of play equipment in sand, strips of wire hooks bottle caps my grandson did pick up some things and as most kids do.. go right to the mouth. Not good. Homeless people had started fires on top of the standing platforms of the new play equipment of the slides. What a shame not even a month old and waste of city's $$ to be trashed and to allow these homeless people to stay there at night...
