Sri Lanka trip feeling
🩵Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens Located in Kandy, the Royal Botanic Gardens is the largest botanical garden in Asia and was once the royal garden of the Kandyan kings. It has a history of thousands of years and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. From the ticket booth to the garden, it takes about 20 minutes to climb the mountain path. 🐒 There are many monkeys along the way. What's lovely is that the monkeys in Sri Lanka are not afraid of people and will not attack them. They play and frolic in groups. At the entrance of the botanical garden, out of respect for the Buddha, it is required to remove your shoes before entering the temple, and there is a dedicated shoe storage area. Long pants or skirts are also a must. It has to be said that the garden in the morning can be quite hot for the feet. 🩵Damro Tea Garden On the way to Damro Tea Garden, the driver also took us to another tea factory. This is part of his task, and it's understandable, so we took it as a break. We visited the tea-making process and tasted ten different concentrations of tea🍵. The tea garden Safari lasts about 1 hour, and a jeep costs 20,000 rupees. A few tips: 🧥 Bring a jacket. The temperature on the mountain is relatively low, and it can get colder if it rains; 🧦 Wear sports shoes and long socks. There are many leeches on the ground where tea is picked, and they will climb onto your feet to suck blood #Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens#Sri Lanka trip #Kandy
