Starting My Dual Role as Student & Teaching Assistant

I’ve been genuinely stunned by the prices here since arriving — everything labeled in dollars hits different 😅 For over a week, I survived on Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. It’s always packed, with a long line every time. The spicy bowl is pretty good though — I always ask the server for extra vinegar! Mike’s Pastry — pretty sure everyone in Boston has tried it. But wow, it’s really sweet 😬 The Whoopie Pie is worth a try if you’re an Oreo lover. If you walk a bit deeper into North End, there’s another popular bakery with a similar vibe called Bova’s Bakery — also always crowded! Classes have started… and my self-introduction was a total mess 😅 I still get nervous introducing myself in front of groups. But when I asked around later, turns out no one was really listening, and no one remembered anyway 😂 Now, the person who bombed their self-introduction is also a teaching assistant. And guess what? I have to introduce myself again — this time in front of a whole lecture hall of freshmen.
