Steakhouse Review: Standout Dishes at John Howie Steak in Bellevue
John Howie Steak Located at The Bravern in Bellevue, right next to Hermès 🐎 Seven Flavor Prime Tenderloin Bites 🥩 An impressive appetizer made with prime tenderloin ❤️. Seasoned with seven spices including lemongrass and orange peel, it offers rich layers of flavor with a lingering, slightly braised-like aftertaste. Highly recommended 😋. Dungeness Crab Cakes 🦀 Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with crab meat. Like the tenderloin bites, the seasoning has an Asian-inspired sweet and spicy twist, making it flavorful without being heavy. Eye of the Rib Steak 🐂 A 12oz American Wagyu steak, best enjoyed medium rare to preserve its tender, juicy texture. The marbling is perfectly balanced—just sprinkle some sea salt and pepper 🧂 for a satisfying bite. If it feels too rich, pair it with a side salad 🥗. The restaurant also serves complimentary tasting bites. Personally, I find the experience better than Ascend. That said, eating steak in summer can feel a bit heavy—I’ll be back when the weather cools down 🤣~ #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlefood#fooddiary#steak#SeattleRestaurant
