Still Obsessed with This Army Stew in LA š ChunjuHan-II
Itās been a while since I had budae jjigae (Army Stew)! Craving satisfied at this famous spot known for authentic Korean flavors. The food is legit, and the Korean auntie serving us was super warm and welcoming š. The menu is packed with all the Korean classicsānothing missing! A truly traditional place with generous portions and great value for money š. š„ Army Stew (Budae Jjigae) The signature stew lives up to the hype! Loaded with spam, rice cakes, tofu, udon noodles, and all the essential veggies š„¬. The broth is rich but not heavyāsavory, slightly spicy, and so comforting! The portion is huge, perfect for sharing with 3ā4 people šØš©š§š¦. š„© Grilled Beef Short Ribs (Ssambap) While the seasoning is pretty standard across Korean spots, the meat quality here stands out! Tender, well-marbled, with just the right amount of chew. So flavorful and perfect with rice š! Definitely a must-order. š² Ginseng Chicken Soup (Samgyetang) Mild and soothingāthe chicken broth is light yet deeply satisfying. My health-conscious friend loved it! Thereās a bit of rice at the bottom that turns porridge-likeāgreat choice if you want something nourishing and gentle on the stomach š„£. š Stone Pot Bibimbap A classic I can never get enough of ā¤ļø! Crispy rice at the bottom, fresh veggies, and a well-balanced sauce thatās bold but not too salty. Mix it all up and every bite is pure happiness š. Healthy, hearty, and delicious! 𦪠Oyster Pancake / Seafood Pancake Their seafood pancakes come highly recommendedāalmost every table around us ordered one! Iāve had a lot of Korean pancakes lately though, so I skipped it this time⦠but next visit, itās on my list for sure š„¢. š 3450 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020 Whatās your go-to Korean comfort food?
