Stop Only Visiting Portland! Maine’s True Hidden Gem Is Here‼️

Can you imagine sitting by a stunning coastline, feeling the sea breeze on your face while devouring a huge lobster—fresh off the boat? What shocked me most? This incredible spot is barely mentioned in travel blogs about New York or New England! 💙 It’s Not Just a Seaside Restaurant—It’s a Whole Scenic Escape Five Islands Lobster Co. is tucked away in Georgetown, a small town in northern Maine. The town itself is quiet and simple; drive to the end of the main road, and suddenly your view opens up—sky and sea blending into one. That moment was absolutely breathtaking 🤍. The parking lot is large, so you won’t have to stress about finding a spot. 🦞 Lobsters Are Truly “Caught & Cooked Fresh” Right next to the restaurant is a dock. We watched in awe as fishing boats pulled in and workers unloaded crates of live, wriggling lobsters—it was such a cool sight 🥹! Eating lobster here means you can literally feel how close it is from the ocean to your plate—just a few meters away. 💰 The Prices Are Unbeatable Compared to the sky-high seafood prices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or even Boston (those $$$$ bills hurt!), this place is a total steal. Lobsters cost around $13–15 per pound—a 1.5-pound fresh-cooked lobster is roughly $20. Lobster rolls range from $20–28, fried seafood platters are $15–20, and desserts or sides are just $3–6. Delicious and affordable—what more could you ask for? 🤩 🌊 Oceanfront Seats That Take the Vibe to Another Level The tables are set right on the rocks. While you eat, you can hear waves crashing against the shore and watch sunlight glinting on the water. There’s no fancy decoration—just raw, pure nature. This kind of experience? Even the most expensive Michelin-starred restaurant can’t top it ✨. 🍽️ 2-Person Order Recommendation (Tested & Approved!) 🦞 2 x 1.5-pound lobsters 🥖 1 lobster roll 🍤 1 order of fish and chips OR fried clam basket 🍟 2 sides (fries or corn) 🍦 2 ice creams for dessert 👉 Total cost: Around $80. Two people will leave full and happy—and you can sit and zone out by the sea for the whole afternoon. So worth it! 📍 Location: Five Islands Lobster Co. It’s about a 6-hour drive from New York—probably not worth a solo trip just for this spot. But if you’re planning a trip to New England (like driving north from Boston), it’s definitely worth making a detour for 🩷. 🌿 Maine’s Summer Is All About Slow Living Beyond the well-known Acadia National Park, Maine is full of hidden coastal towns—each with its own unique surprises 🫶. We found so many fun spots during our road trip, and I’ll share more of them later! ❤️❤️ #NewJerseyArea #NewYorkArea #NewYorkLife #BostonLife #BostonFood #BostonArea
