Strolling Around Nijo Castle in Kyoto🌸🍃
Today, Nijo Castle was pretty empty. Maybe the desolate winter scenery isn't as appealing as the spring and autumn views, but I actually think the winter atmosphere matches the mood of the Tokugawa ancestors quite well. 🌟 🌸🍃 After wandering around, I suddenly remembered seeing a Sichuan beef noodle shop on social media last night before bed, and I really wanted to try it. Let's go! 🌇🌿There's a direct bus from the entrance of Nijo Castle to Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), and the beef noodle shop is just one stop further. I walked in, and there were only two options (large bowl, small bowl). I naturally have a soft spot for shops that focus on one specialty. 🌸🍃 After slurping down the large bowl of chewy noodles—spicy, numbing, and hot—I was warmed from head to toe. It was absolutely delicious! 🍜 #Beef Noodle Shop: Name: Sabanji 【Sichuan Beef Noodles】Jabanzhi -sabanji- RAMEN・Kinkaku-ji Store 🌇🌿 Address: 45-3 Kinugasa Babacho, Kita Ward, Kyoto, 603-8362 Price: Regular ¥1000 / Large ¥1500 🌸🍃 After finishing my meal, I visited the nearby Kinkaku-ji (just as an afterthought), walked around, and didn't really feel much. Time to head to Takashimaya for some shopping. 🛍️ #KyotoNijoCastle 🌇🌿
