This was my second trip to Dunedin—totally spontaneous, booking accommodations day by day. By sheer luck, I ended up staying near St Clair Beach and discovered this glass-walled gem of a café! ☕️ Long Dog Café 📍 St Clair, Dunedin 9012, New Zealand Why it’s special: Floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views + sunlight galore—perfect for photos inside & out! 📸 The seaside tables are dreamy… but brutally sunny (I had to retreat to a shaded corner 😅). Aesthetic: 10/10—probably the prettiest café in Dunedin (downtown can’t compete!). 🍪 The Food & Drinks: Coffee: Bold and bitter (their Iced Latte with Coconut Milk woke me up too well—not for the faint-hearted!). Donut: Decent, but a tad dry. Cookie: STAR OF THE SHOW! A giant, buttery shortbread with filling—absolute perfection with coffee. 👀 Pro Tips: Go for the views + vibes (and that cookie!). If you’re sun-sensitive, avoid peak afternoon—those windows turn it into a greenhouse!
