Suburban Autumn Appreciation 🍁 Movie-Style Morning Mist Farm
🌳 Gibbet Hill (1 hour drive from Boston, 🎬 filming location for the movie “Little Women”) 🅿️ 【Parking】 The only and best choice: Gibbet Hill Grill parking lot 🆓 Plenty of space (navigation address: 61 Lowell Rd, Groton, MA 01450). Elsewhere is No Parking, and you might get a ticket. 🚶 【Trail】 Take a Baby-level Trail along the edge of the farm, a 15-minute uphill walk to Bancroft’s Castle Sunset View Point. 🌅 【Best Time】 Morning mist viewing; sunset viewing in the afternoon. 🐂 【Restaurant 🍴】 Gibbet Hill Grill, a classic farm-to-table restaurant, famous for its steak. 🌟【Additional Attraction】 Also visited a nearby mountain called Mt Watatic, with a moderate-to-easy difficulty level. The trail is a loop, taking about 2 hours round trip. The view from the highest point is very open but can be quite windy. 💡Visited the White Mountains two weeks ago, and the following two weeks are perfect for continuing to chase autumn in the suburbs of Boston or heading south. #Attending a Golden Feast of Ginkgo Leaves #Poetry of Autumn in Images #Offbeat Travel #Boston #BostonSurroundings #BostonLife #BostonAutumnViewing #BostonAutumn #BostonFood #LittleWomen
