Such a gorgeous all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant
Such a gorgeous all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant has landed in North Carolina😍 It’s right in Raleigh! Only a little over 20 miles away 💞from Duke (shoutout to my awesome friend who drove us there—and it was his birthday that day 🎂!). For $30, you can choose either Japanese food or hot pot; $35 gets you both. 💚💚 One of our friends can’t eat seafood, so they went for hot pot—I snuck a bite and it was actually really good!💞 JapaneseFood You can order all kinds of rolls, sushi, sashimi, salads, tempura, and desserts. The best part? The sashimi is unlimited✨ 🛶🛶The condiment bar is fully stocked too. We were practically stuffed before we could finish trying all the dishes we wanted—for this quality, it’s an absolute steal. Sashimi — the undeniable MVP🎃 Just look at how fresh and visually stunning it is. We ordered every single type available. From what I remember, there was tuna, salmon, red snapper, fish roe, unagi, white tuna, smoked salmon… thoug🎄🎄h I highly doubt we got the full selection. At first, they kept bringing out the more filling tempura and rolls, and the sashimi only came when we were almost full. 👀 On top of that, since it was close to closing time, a lot of our later orders never arrived—major thumbs down for that 🏝️ Avocado Salad 🥑 — The avocados were perfectly ripe! 🗻 Creamy and smooth—10/10, highly recommend! Crab Salad — Not a fan of the imitation crab sticks here; they tasted too processed and fake.🏕️🏕️ Salmon with Tobiko — The seasoning was spot on.🍢🍢 Assorted Roll Platter 🍣 — The avocado, salmon, and unagi rolls were great—but the imitation crab sticks? Hard pass! Tempura Cheesecake — A total guilty pleasure bomb! I’d only seen videos of fried cheesecake before and thought it would be disgustingly greasy. 🍞🍞 But one bite, and I was hooked—high-calorie food really hits different 👍. The outside was crispy, the inside was slightly melted 🧀, and dipping it in the creamy milk sauce next to it made it even more delicious. 🍡🍡 We ordered one plate first, and as soon as a friend took a bite and said how amazing it was, we added two more plates!🍛🍛 🍓Vegetable Tempura 🥬🧅 — The rest of the tempura was just so-so. The batter was dry and hard instead of crispy, and the veggies inside were mushy. Takoyaki — Just average, but we had to order it since it was on the menu.🍣 Mango Salmon and Tuna Salad — The sweet mango took this dish to the next level!🍧 Seafood Soup — A warm, comforting finish to the meal.🍎🍎 After we finished eating, we hung out and chatted for ages—it was such a lovely night 👣 Everyone there was so genuine and had such interesting stories to share.🍩🍩 #JapaneseCuisine #NorthCarolinaFood #StudyAbroadUSA #DukeUniversity #Duke #SushiLoversMustTry#InternationalStudentFoodDiaries #Seafood
