I am going to leave a general one-star review for this place. To start off, I so want to say that the seafood is very flavorful and can get a good deal affordably. I have visited this restaurant way before it was flooded and after. My only complaint is on the service I received the last time I was there. I was unaware of the Crazy Crab Sunday deals, well one Sunday I decided to go alone and I ordered the "all you can eat" Sunday buffet. Great! Or I thought so. The Asian waitress who was waiting on me explained the rules: 90 minutes for the all you can eat, and explained that I was limited to one order of Dungeness crab, a couple orders of the snow crab, oysters, etc. OK, I understood perfectly. Unfortunately, it was not mentioned that the 90 mins started once you sat down. That was alright with me also. It took 20 mins for my first order to come out... That was alright with me also. I ate my first seafood boil and took my time because I was watching a movie on my phone as well. Took me like 45 mins. What really frustrated me was that the same waitress approached me to advise I only had 15 minutes left to eat. Before that, she never came back to ask if I would like more beverage, never approached me to see if everything was OK. NO, she came up to me and told me I had 15 minutes, all the while I was only 60 minutes into the movie I was watching... Appalling! Since she told me I only had 15 mins, I asked if I could order another seafood boil, she responded that I could and actually looked annoyed. I decided to select the last limited Items I had, CAN I TELL YOU, when the server came with the seafood boil, it did Not include the corn nor the potatoes that they all come with. It's as if they just threw the seafood and sauce in the bag, shook it a couple times and brought it out to me so that I could hurry up and leave... Mind you, I am 5'3 and only weigh 150, I am not going to eat the whole restaurant. I just wanted to enjoy dining alone and the service made my experience the worst here. You would think this place would honor its own system. That is all that I have to say. Go to the Shaking Crab or Capri where the service and drinks are better. I would pay any money to get great service but will not think twice to leave a review for horrible service.
New edit 8/22/24 - to the person who responded to this review (hopefully management) Please use your brain and take a look at the breakdown of my rating: Food = 4, Service = 1, Atmosphere = 3 I am not sure where you got that I did not enjoy the food. What I did not enjoy was the lack of waiting attention/inconsistency … and then only being approached when my time is running out…. To them serving me an incomplete seafood boil. Read and...

Ladies: don't come to this place trying to be cute. Put on some sweat pants (you will need the space in the waistband) and a tee shirt (you will probably get some crab juice on you) and get your eat on.
As a southern raised Black woman, I love outdoor crab boils over a pit fire complete with sausage, potatoes, and live Florida Blue crabs. I've been in Rhode Island for 6 years and haven't been able to get so much as a decently seasoned shrimp or chicken wing, so I showed up not expecting much.
First of all, anyplace you go that can make a good lemon pepper wing, you know the rest of the food must be bomb. So I decided to see if the food could stand up to my scrutiny. The lemon pepper wings blew. my. mind. For real! Piping hot and well seasoned ✔️.
So I went ahead and ordered combo D with a cluster of snow crab legs, 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1/2 lb if steamed clams with garlic butter, medium heat. I was like "whatever this ain't gonna fill me up and I'm gonna be hungry when I leave." But, they brought the bib, 🧤 gloves, and 🛠️ to the table and I was ready. Y'all, when I say the food came out , the waitress shook it and opened it for me and it was ON!
I was fully prepared for it to be super bland so I basically inhaled my first bite and coughed for the first 5 minutes but could not stop eating. The food was so good! It stayed nice and hot and each and every bite of crab leg came out of the shell so smoothly (if you know, you know). Well seasoned AND well cooked! Say less! I ate until I was stuffed.
For seafood it was reasonably priced at just $29.99 for one person. Need I say more?...
Read moreThe seafood boil itself was fine. The service was extremely lacking. My girlfriend and her brother ordered combos that came with crab legs, and weren’t given crackers for the shell for their crab legs. When they asked they were told that they didn’t have any, and they were all in the wash right now. What kind of a crab restaurant doesn’t have claw crackers on hand? 20 minutes later she brings over some long after my girlfriend’s crab was cold. She apologized and explained she had to wait for the dishwasher to clean them. That’s fine. Really weird for a seafood place but we were willing to overlook it, and it wasn’t her fault.
But we still had cold crab, and despite explaining the issue to her, she kept being like I got you them as fast as I could! We explained that we didn’t necessarily want a refund, we wanted a hot meal. At first she got defensive, then she called her manager over who didn’t really seem to have any context for the issue, who took their plates and either slapped it under a salamander heater for a few minutes or straight up microwaved it.
I ordered the house noodles, I was expecting some kind of Asian Cajun fusion noodles, but was served spaghetti with Cajun seasoning.
The whole experience just turned me off, which is a shame because I hear that it’s usually...
