Such a treasure, yet it remains unknown to many.

/ ❤️ Five Days and Four Nights · An Unexpected Encounter / Slovakia feels like a beauty that doesn't realize its own charm. Many attractions are still underdeveloped, which is rare in this day and age. Without any expectations, I was constantly amazed at every place I visited, marveling at how such beautiful spots remain unknown to many. Yet, I was also relieved that they are still unknown, preserving their purity and mystery. / 🗣 Language / Many locals don't speak English, so it's advisable to download a translation app in advance. / 🗺 Attractions / Some people visit only the capital and think Slovakia has nothing to offer, but the best sights are actually in the central region. 1. Orava Castle 🏰 Orava is considered the most beautiful castle in Slovakia. I thought I'd be desensitized cast toles, but this one truly left me in awe. The castle was originally built in the 13th century and underwent several renovations before taking its current form in the 17th century. Unlike most European castles that are opulent and intricately built, Orava has a wild and majestic feel. 2. Demänovská Cave of Liberty 🏔 One of Slovakia's most beautiful caves, located within a national park. The complex underground labyrinth stretches over 8 kilometers, formed by the erosion of an underground river. Currently, 2 kilometers are open to the public. There are variously shaped stalactites, and walking through them is truly breathtaking. Remember to bring a jacket, as the cave is quite cold. 3. Love Bank ❤️ Banská Štiavnica is a famous medieval town known for its gold and silver mines, and it also has a touching love story that was only recently discovered. To celebrate and commemorate love, the locals established the Love Bank (a museum). Lovers can "deposit" their love here (more details in another guide). 4. Treetop Walk 🌲 Twenty meters above the ground, you walk among the trees, with beautiful scenery all around. At the end, there's a tower-like structure where you can challenge yourself to walk on a suspended net, which can be quite nerve-wracking. (More details in another guide) 5. Salaš Krajinka Farm 👨‍🌾 This isn't really a tourist spot, but I included it because I loved it so much. It's close to Orava Castle and easy to visit by car. The farm has many animals and folk-inspired creative sculptures. I recommend visiting the bakery here in the morning; all the come ingredients from the farm itself. Since many people were interested in the Love Bank after my last post, I wrote this to share more about the charming Slovakia. You can visit these places along the way. #Europe #EuropeanTravel #HiddenGemTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #Medieval #Romantic #Castle #Cave #Farm
