Well, this place is just... awesome. The story of the longest love poem in the world is presented here in absolutely exceptional way. It's definitely not just another museum. It's real experience where you use your love to make the poem live. Dynamic, interactive presentation of deepest love will catch your heart. And more - if you are in love and you do believe your love will last forever, or you are married for ages and still loving your partner, come here and put your symbol of your love into small box in Archive of Love. Much much better idea than putting some lock on the bridge... You may think this Club of Epicentrum of Love is primarily meant for couples, but it's not. I think it is great for families as well. Or even for widows/widowers. Simply said, it's for any Story of Love. Some logistic: interior is very nice from the beginning to the end. Credit cards accepted. Very nice souvenir shop. Staff absolutely kind, friendly and helpful - they are just full of love :-) Prepare for your visit though - especially parking in the whole city is problematic. We were lucky and park near the venue, but locals recommend to use kind of P+R parking near the old school. I will do that next time because it's small city and everything can be reached within 15 mins walking. The only problem could be that the...

The cave - vault with the mirror on the floor and the poem + boxes on the walls is 100% the best part - and could be the only part to make more impact, to be honest. A great photospot. Other parts only feel like you being sold something.
Again, a good idea but with too much sparkles making you expect more - and with less pushed glamour. It’s too expensive an attraction for 12€ an entry. As a historical landmark saved, awesome. The way of doing it, however, promotes a toxic overly romantic kind of love, though, and I am an all-for-love kind of person.
A big thank you, however, to the owners that didn’t let this valuable history piece of a house be destroyed. That is why 3* were chosen - and the mirror room, ofc, but I guess the inspiration for that was Matej Krén’s Bratislava gallery installation.
p.s. To compare it with Romeo&Juliet on the plate outside feels unreal (almost a joke) and not true/relevant. It’s a completely different, non-tragic story, so again an...
Read moreA 50min tour that includes 20min video, 10min photo shooting in a room with love letters, 15 min in a room with the original book, 5 min that tells you to put your love letter in the bank for 100 euros. The tour costs 12 euros and it's a bit expensive for what is worth. In my opinion you pay only for the photo in the room with love letters. The story is very very plain and short.
If you have high expectations or you are short of time, you could avoid this place. You can see the room in the photos here.
If you have spare time and you wish to put your names in the love bank for 100 euros then you can go for it. Fun tour to spend your time in...
