Summer in the Appalachian Mountains 🍃⛰️

There’s something truly magical about summer in the Appalachians — the cool, crisp air; the endlessly blue skies; and the seemingly infinite network of hiking trails that weave through lush green forests and over rolling peaks. I recently moved to Hickory, North Carolina, and I can’t imagine a more perfect place to soak in the beauty of the season. Whether I’m setting off on a sunrise hike or simply enjoying a slow morning on the porch with a cup of coffee, the sense of peace here is incredible. The trails range from gentle walks along creekside paths to more challenging climbs that reward you with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 🥾✨ One of my favorite things so far? The community vibe.
