Sun Nong Dan – LA’s Hottest Korean Spot, Meat Lovers Rejoice! πŸ–πŸ”₯

Sun Nong Dan is arguably the most popular Korean restaurant in Los Angeles – and for good reason! We ordered the medium-sized braised beef ribs with cheese and oxtail, and wow – the portion was massive! Packed with tender oxtail and beef short ribs, it could easily feed 4–5 people. Flavor was rich and satisfying, though it’s definitely a sharing dish. πŸ§€ We also tried the beef offal and intestine stew. The offal was flavorful, but the intestines were a bit too fatty for my taste. One note: the banchan (side dishes) were pretty basic – just chives and kimchi. I ended up eating a lot of kimchi while waiting! πŸ₯¬ Personally, I prefer soup-based Korean meals like soft tofu stew. In LA, Yong Dong Tofu is actually my go-to for that comforting, brothy warmth. But no doubt about it – LA’s Korean food scene beats what I’ve tried in Beijing's Wangjing area, hands down. πŸ‘ If you’re craving hearty, shareable meat dishes and don’t mind a wait, Sun Nong Dan is worth the hype. Just come hungry and with friends! #SunNongDan #LAKoreanFood #KoreanBBQ #BraisedShortRibs #LAEats #FoodieHeaven #MeatLovers #KFood #MustTryLA #ComfortFood
