Sun Nong Dan Alternative — Right Here in Irvine! 🥘

Was planning to take my mom to Sun Nong Dan in Rowland Heights, but after a quick Yelp search, found Yoo’s Place in the same plaza as Yang Guofu in Irvine! Decided to give it a try. The restaurant is spacious and bright. We arrived around 5 PM and there were already a few tables. Staff were all Korean aunties—felt very authentic! We ordered: 🍖 Beef Rib Stew (Galbi Jjim) – No Cheese Almost as good as Sun Nong Dan! More veggies though—loaded with rice cakes, pumpkin, and glass noodles. Flavor was on point! 🐷 Braised Pork Trotters Tasty and no gamey taste at all. 🥣 Beef Soup & Bulgogi Both were delicious! Total before tip: $225 (we over-ordered because we wanted to try everything!). The rib stew alone is $80+ and enough for two.
