Sunday took the little one to Cologne Zoo for a stroll

Since we got up early, we arrived just as it opened! We parked in the parking garage next to the cable car, which was still quite empty in the morning! Here's a rough guide 📝 The parking garage charges a fee, located next to the cable car. Remember to tap your parking card at the entrance on the left side, which is also the exit, to save half the parking fee! We paid four euros for parking 🅿️ 🐘Adult tickets are 23 euros, and it's free for children under three! You can buy them on-site or online and then scan the QR code to enter directly! We arrived a bit after nine, and there were very few people, so we bought tickets on-site. We first visited the aquarium and then entered the main park after ten, by which time there was a long queue for tickets! Also, note that the ticket is only for a single entry. We went to the aquarium first and then walked out. When the little one wanted to see the fish again, scanning the code wouldn't let us in anymore! It showed that it had already been scanned, which felt quite unreasonable. It's supposed to be a day pass, but you can only enter once. There's an automatic exit door, and many people come out, so you could wait and enter from the opening side, but after tiring ourselves out in the park, we didn't take him in again. We told him he couldn't go in, and that was that! The aquarium had many reptiles and a so-so selection of fish. They basically had all the common ones! #Zoos #EncountersWithWildlife #Nature #DayTrip #WonderfulAnimals #Fun #Vacation #Park
