If you still want to reach the summit and experience an adrenaline rush, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 you can take the small path next to the Wakakusa Mountain entrance. There's a sign that says "No unauthorized vehicles allowed." 🌸🌺🌿🍃 Follow the path uphill, which will take about 40 minutes to an hour to climb. 🚶‍♂️⛰️ In December, the sunset in Nara is around 4:50 PM, and you can capture the night view by about 5:10 PM. 🌇 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The only small downside is that you have to return the same way down, and there are no lights, so it will be dark.
