Went to the beach yesterday and wanted something warm and comforting for dinner! A friend took me to this Chinese spot they always go to β and they insisted I try it! β¨ Be sure to arrive early β it gets busy and sometimes thereβs a line! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious β tasted just like back home! π¨π³β€οΈ π West Lake Beef Soup Loaded with egg, tofu, and tender beef! So flavorful and warming β perfect after a day by the ocean π²β¨ π Dry Pot Frog Legs Packed with bamboo shoots, celery, potatoes, and frog legs β so aromatic and well-seasoned! Not too spicy but incredibly fragrant π€€πΆοΈ π Black Pepper Beef The beef was so tender and full of wok hei (breath of the wok)! Even my friend who doesnβt usually love meat couldnβt stop eating it! π₯©π₯ π Water Spinach with Fermented Tofu This was my first time seeing such thin-stemmed water spinach β so crispy, sweet, and juicy! π₯¬π π Steamed Rice Pot The rice itself was fragrant and amazing β no joke, everyone had 2-3 bowls because the dishes were just that good with rice! ππ β¨ The kitchen was bustling β my friend said they get tons of takeout orders too! β¨ They have two menus β one for meat dishes and one for veggie-focused plates (perfect for all preferences)!
