🎉 Surprisingly Delicious Home-Cooked Meals 🇲🇾😍

This was my first trip to Ireland🇮🇪, and I found the Chinese restaurants here to be few and far between. I wasn't used to the local cuisine🥲, which seemed to consist mostly of alcohol🍺. After searching on Google Maps📱, I was fortunate to find a Malaysian🇲🇾 restaurant in downtown Dublin😍. I fell in love with it after just one meal because it tasted so much like home🥺. Trust me, you'll definitely enjoy it too💕. 🏠 Ann’s House 67, Middle Abbey St, North City, Ireland. 💛 Mutton Curry - €15.9 It's very creamy and flavorful. The mutton is tender, unlike at other restaurants where it's often tough😭. The curry sauce is rich and seems to have plenty of milk/coconut milk🥛. 🐷 Pork Belly Casserole - €15.9 Salted fish with pork belly is a popular dish in Malaysia🇲🇾. The pork belly here is truly delicious😋👍🏻. I've been there three times in a month and ordered it every time🀼️. The staff even said it's their signature dish🥳, so you must try it💕. 🐓 Sichuan Chicken - €15.5 This was a bit disappointing⚠️ because we expected it to be in a clay pot with sauce, but it was more Malaysian-style and not very spicy. It was a bit strange for me and my family🤔. 💚 Green Curry - €15.5 A small dish that's not overly saucy. I personally found it just okay, with many ingredients I don't like (onions🧅, green peppers🫑, carrots). It felt very healthy, but it's slightly different from authentic Thai curry🇹🇭. 🦑 Salted Egg Squid - €15.9 Another good dish👍🏻. Highly recommended‼️. The salted egg is very fragrant😋, and the portion is generous. It's worth ordering. 🍜 Smooth Egg Rice Noodles - €12.9 The Hua Tan Hor soup has a slight thickening, with a subtle egg aroma in every bite. Here's the difference between rice noodles & rice sticks: Northerners prefer noodles, Southerners prefer rice noodles😚. Rice noodles are softer and stickier, made with more sweet potato & starch, while rice sticks are more resilient and refreshing😋. 🍲 Stir-Fried Rice Sticks - €12.9 Char Kuey Tiaw is not suitable for takeout because the eggs🥚 are overcooked. When I opened the takeout container, it was a solid piece, which my friend didn't like👎. However, it's good when eaten at the restaurant😊. 🍚 Rice - €2.5 Great value, much cheaper than the £4 per bowl of rice I used to get at restaurants in the UK🇬🇧. Other dishes worth trying include: Bak Kut Teh🍖, City Shrimp Noodles🦐, Salted Egg Fried Rice🍚. 📈 Summary: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finding such a good Asian/Malaysian🇲🇾 restaurant in Dublin🌏 is not easy. The prices are reasonable & the portions are proportional💰. I personally recommend following the daily specials and asking the staff for recommendations. It's the best way👍. I sincerely hope the owner's business thrives, and I look forward to visiting them again when I'm next in Ireland🇮🇪😍. #MyStudyAbroadLife #StudyingInIreland #IrishLife #TrinityCollegeDublin #LifeInDublin #TrinityCollegeDublin #FoodNearTrinity #DublinFood #MalaysianRestaurant #BakKutTea
