Switzerland | Asian Food Guide Across Cities š„¢
Since I have a Chinese-food-loving stomach, I couldnāt eat Western food every day during my month-long Europe trip! Hereās a list of decent Asian restaurants I tried. š²š¾ A Fatt (Zurich) Rarely do you find a Malaysian-Chinese restaurantāI was overjoyed! The food was delicious š with a wide selection of Malaysian dishes. We ordered: Claypot chicken rice Hot & sour soup Sambal fried eggs Braised pork with preserved veggies Tofu pudding (just okay š ) š Hours: 6PMā10PM (Weekends 11AMā10PM) Closed Monday š Location: Zurich š„¢ Jasmine Garden (Grindelwald) The only Chinese restaurant in Grindelwald! Small space, so expect queues. The sign is tiny, and itās in a basement (see photo for stairs). The owner speaks Cantoneseāgo early or book ahead! ā ļø Unclear opening hoursāit was closed the first day I went. š Location: Grindelwald š¹š Bai-Toey (Geneva) A tiny Thai spotāpacked when we arrived, so we sat by the window. Many people recommended it, but the tom yum was just okay š (I prefer the one at the Thai place in Interlaken). š Hours: 12ā2PM, 7ā10PM š Location: Geneva š„¢ China Garden (Zermatt) Picked this Chinese restaurant based on good reviews. The food was decent, and the place was almost full when we went. š Hours: 12ā2PM, 6ā11PM Closed Sunday š Location: Zermatt Final Thoughts Best Malaysian: A Fatt (Zurich) Only Chinese in Grindelwald: Jasmine Garden Thai Option: Bai-Toey (Geneva) ā but tom yum was meh Solid Chinese in Zermatt: China Garden Perfect for Asian food cravings while traveling in Switzerland! #TravelEats #FoodDiary #SwissAsianFood #ZurichEats #GrindelwaldDining #GenevaThaiFood #ZermattChinese #CoupleTravel
