๐ Tacoma Summer Day Trip ๐
Tacoma is perfect for a summer stroll! I originally planned to visit the state museum, but lucked out and stumbled upon a festival ๐ โ free museum entry, artist booths, and a live band playing! ๐ถ๐๏ธ The Proctor Farmers' Market isnโt very big, but itโs lovely โ fresh flowers ๐ธ, live performances, and we grabbed a freshly made pizza ๐ to snack on! The Museum of Glass ๐๏ธ๐ฎ feels like a sister museum to Seattleโs Chihuly Garden. Lots of Dale Chihulyโs works here โ the large-scale outdoor pieces are especially impressive! The bridge leading to the museum is a highlight ๐. While the indoor collection isnโt huge, the live glassblowing demo is even more spectacular than Seattleโs. So cool to watch! ๐ฅ The Washington State History Museum looks big from outside, but itโs actually pretty compact โ you can finish it quickly ๐ถโโ๏ธ. The model train area is huge and recreates historic cities in detail! ๐๐๏ธ Asado ๐ โ not the most authentic Argentine grill, but still pretty tasty! ๐ #Tacoma #SummerTrip #MuseumOfGlass #Chihuly #WashingtonState #TravelWA #DayTrip #FarmersMarket #GlassArt #LiveMusic #Foodie
