Taking the Sightseeing Monorail to See the Space Needle

🌟I took the Monorail from Westlake Center for a leisurely stroll and was pleasantly surprised. The Monorail was built for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, and the entire journey immerses you in the enthusiasm for space exploration of that era. Even today, it’s incredibly exciting, like stepping onto a Disney space ship. 🌟It show the Westlake station where, after going upstairs, you’ll see the oval silver card machines with blue strip lights that already give you a sense of the space exploration theme. You can buy a ticket or swipe your Orca card to enter; if your company covers public transport, this ride is free! 🌟I sat in the front row on the way there, right next to the driver’s right hand! When the Monorail started, I really felt the excitement of a roller coaster ride. Looking through the windows from the top of the car gave a new perspective on the skyscrapers we passed. The buildings I see on my daily commute looked completely different! There’s a section of the track that’s inclined towards the inside of the curve, which is quite fun. 🌟After arriving at the Seattle Center, I walked through the music museum and then it was time to get off. Outside the station is a food court with lots of delicious food and a retro clock. 🌟I went to explore the shops at the base of the Space Needle, saw an automatic vending machine for Molly Moon’s ice cream, glass jellyfish, and tourists lining up for the elevator. Apart from the music and glass museums nearby, there are also many small shops and stalls. Photo 1 is the children’s area outside the music museum with climbing frames and a long slide. Some adults were playing with their children, and it looked amazing. I want to try it when it’s less crowded. Seattle finally has some sunny days! I hope everyone can take advantage of the rare sunshine and go out to play more! #Seattle #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend
