Taking the Tram to the Mountaintop in Juneau for Breathtaking Views

Aniakchak National Monument and Preserve After arriving in Juneau, we set off toward the mountains—whether for the hike, the photos, or just the experience. Well… actually, we took the tram up, so maybe it doesn’t really count as hiking 😄. The environment here feels wonderfully natural 🌿🌲. Even with the tram, the little shops, and the café, everything has been carefully designed to blend into the surroundings. The views remain stunning without looking disrupted by overly modern or obvious man-made structures 👏❤️. It’s such a refreshing contrast to some other places that go all out with brand-new, flashy constructions right in the middle of ecological areas—not exactly easy on the eyes 👀💢.
