Talula’s Garden: A Slightly Romantic Restaurant in Philadelphia
🏠 Talula’s Garden 📍 210 W Washington Square, Philadelphia ⭐️ 3.5/5 Summary: The atmosphere is super romantic, but the dishes have a mix of good and bad flavors—perfect for a Valentine’s Day date. 🍰 Fresh Baked Cornbread 5/5 A perfect 100/100 cornbread! With just one bite, you can taste the corn, the scallion, the butter, and the honey. The balance of sweet and savory is excellent, and it’s so delicious that it triggers a dopamine rush! The accompanying butter is unique—sweet but not cloying. I really wish they would open a separate bakery to sell this. 🍚 Seared Sea Scallops & Fresh Gulf Shrimp 3.5/5 Maybe it’s a matter of personal taste, but the risotto seemed a bit too sour, as if there was a lot of lemon juice. However, the seafood was very fresh and had a refreshing taste. 👀 I saw this restaurant from a previous visit, so I don’t remember many details. But the ambiance is really beautiful and not noisy at all! Each dish is served on stunning plates, making for a great visual experience. #PhillyDate #PhillyWesternCuisine #UPenn
