Thịnh An Kitchen & Tofu 📍 8104 W Waters Ave, Tampa, FL 33615 Finally visited this spot recommended by a friend—their tofu is especially delicious! 😋 A Vietnamese restaurant with a extensive menu and great prices—especially since pho is like $20 everywhere these days 🍜 There’s a whole section with bakery items and Vietnamese snacks to-go! 🥡 If you’re dining in, just pick what you want from here and pay altogether at the end. Lots of Vietnamese desserts—Tampa’s local version of Bambu! 🍧 🧾 What we tried: 🥛 Soybean Milk – Sweet soy milk! Not sure if sugar-free is available, but it’s really tasty. Let the ice melt a bit if it’s too sweet. They also have big bottles in the fridge! 🧊 🫔 Bánh Cuốn – From the deli counter! Vietnamese rice rolls—similar to Cheung Fun—filled with minced pork and wood ear mushrooms. Served with fish sauce. Super thin and soft! 🍤 Seafood Toast – Super thick topping like a sweet, creamy “supreme pizza.” Topped with celery that tastes just like Trader Joe’s cranberry chicken salad seasoning 😂 🍢 Fried Tofu – Their specialty! Lemongrass flavor—sweet, fresh, and tender. Sells out fast! Also tried the plain version and mushroom version. Plus fried mung bean balls and shrimp cakes—all tasty! 🍜 Mì Quảng – Turmeric-infused egg noodles about half a cm wide. Topped with Vietnamese ham, shrimp, pork ribs, and marinated quail eggs. Served with herbs and a giant sesame rice cracker—dip it in the broth! 🌿 Though marked “spicy,” it’s actually pretty mild. 🌈 Rainbow Dessert – Vietnamese chè (sweet soup)! Coconut milk base with savory mung bean paste, grass jelly, red beans, water chestnut, and cendol.
