🌊 Tampa Travel Highlights 🌴

1️⃣ Clearwater & Opal Resort 🏨 Every room has an ocean view! 🌊 Unlimited free water on each floor 💧 Keycard is a wristband – super convenient for swimming 🏊‍♀️ The hotel restaurant is also great – highly recommended! 🍽️ But… it was foggy all 3 days we were there 😅 – not sure if it’s always like that? Compare to December Miami: felt like early summer in Beijing – dry, hot, and sunny! ☀️ 2️⃣ Silver Springs + Sassy’s Kayak Tour 🚣 Transparent kayaks were new and clean 🚣♀️ Guides worked hard – carried kayaks into the water for everyone 💪 Tour includes entry – no extra tickets or waiting in line! 🎫 Guide gave great commentary throughout 👍 Only saw one manatee 😢 (guide said they avoid heat – but alligators love sunbathing! 🐊) 😤 PS: Some international students on our tour showed up late + didn’t tip… and then got their car stuck while reversing in the parking lot 🚗💥 3️⃣-4️⃣ Ringling Museum 🎪 1-hour drive from Tampa – but totally worth it! Built by a 20th-century circus family 🎭 Closed due to animal protection laws 🐘 Now a museum with incredibly detailed miniature circus models 🏛️ Famous pink wall – super Instagrammable! 📸 5️⃣ Sarasota Beach 🏖️ Voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the US! 🏆 Sand is white, fine, and soft – doesn’t hurt your feet 🦶 Much prettier than Clearwater & South Beach Miami! Crowded though… 😅 🦷 Pro tip: Head south of Sarasota to beaches where you can find shark teeth!
