Taos Travel Diary: Art, Culture & Starry Nights ๐ต๐
We left Santa Fe in the morning and made a last-minute stop at Meow Wolf โ an immersive, surreal art experience perfect for families or friends who love fantasy and interactive fun! ๐ญ๐ฎ Since we had a night booked at the viral Hotel Luna Mystica, we took our time driving and made several cool stops along the way: ๐ชจ Camel Rock A unique rock formation โ great for a quick photo, but weโd seen so many similar landscapes by then that we didnโt stay long ๐. ๐๏ธ Taos Plaza A charming local square with shops and vibes. Donโt miss Made In New Mexico for souvenirs! ๐ ๐บ Taos Pueblo A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the Americasโฆ but it was closed ๐ข. Tip: Check opening hours in advance! โช San Francisco de Asis Church A historic adobe church that inspired artists like Ansel Adams and Georgia OโKeeffe. Simple yet powerful. ๐ Rio Grande Gorge Bridge A MUST-SEE! The views over the deep canyon are breathtaking โ both thrilling and awe-inspiring. โป๏ธ Earthship Biotecture An eco-village built with recycled materials. Interesting if youโre into sustainable architecture, but more educational than scenic. ๐ Hotel Luna Mystica The highlight! This vintage trailer park isnโt luxury, but the vibes are unbeatable. Each trailer has its own style, and some have kitchens. Bring food or grab takeout โ then enjoy the incredible starry night sky! ๐โค๏ธ #Taos #NewMexico #TravelDiary #RoadTrip #SustainableTravel #StarryNight
