Tasty Peruvian Food in LA ๐ต๐ช๐ด
The restaurant is called Lonzo, located near Culver City ๐๏ธ I had just gotten back to LA after a trip and had 5 hours before my flight home โ so I stopped here for dinner. Itโs super close to the airport too! โ๏ธ A friend from the Class of 6000 (also our high school buddy lol ๐) brought us here. All three of us from Xinjiang gave it a thumbs up! ๐ Itโs a small spot by the street. We ordered four dishes recommended by the staff: โข Grilled Beef Heart โค๏ธ๐ฅ No gamey taste at all โ the seasoning reminded us of Chinese-style BBQ! Amazing texture ๐ โข Lobster Taco ๐ฆ๐ฎ โข Seafood Rice ๐ The rice was softer than what weโve had before โ really tasty! โข Dish similar to Middle Eastern rice with beans Not the prettiest, but itโs actually braised beef brisket rice โ tender and well-cooked! ๐ฅ Overall, the flavors felt really close to Chinese/Xinjiang cuisine! Too bad I had a mouth sore that day โ made eating a bit painful ๐ #LA #PeruvianFood
