Tel Aviv Citywalk | March 16, 2025 🇮🇱

[Disclaimer: This travel post reflects personal experience only. It does not represent any political stance. I sincerely hope for peace between Palestine and Israel. Trolls and keyboard warriors will be blocked.] Israel is Asia’s most developed nation, and Tel Aviv—its internationally recognized capital—is also one of the world’s most expensive cities. Thanks to its booming semiconductor industry, it’s often called the "Silicon Valley of the Middle East." Yesterday, Krakow was buried in snow—today, I landed in summer-mode Tel Aviv, swapping my coat for a T-shirt. 🚶 Walking Route 1️⃣ Azrieli Mall Took the train from the airport to Hashalom Station (right at the mall). The rooftop observation deck offers panoramic city views. Surrounding area is Tel Aviv’s financial hub (banks, Big Four firms, skyscrapers). 2️⃣ Sarona Market A lively local market packed with gourmet food stalls. 3️⃣ Rothschild Boulevard Lined with cafés, indie boutiques, and Bauhaus-style "White City" architecture—vibes like Chengdu’s Yulin Road. 4️⃣ Tayelet (Beach Promenade) Tel Aviv is famous for its Mediterranean coastline. Despite the war, the沙滩 was full of joggers, swimmers, and sunbathers—zero tension in the air. (Weird fog today—couldn’t see much!) 5️⃣ Rabin Square Memorial for assassinated PM Yitzhak Rabin. The tapering monument has a symbolic design (look it up!). (Under renovation during my visit.) 🛃 Immigration Quick process: Just showed return tickets and stated my travel purpose. Received a green entry card (no stamp)—keep it safe! 🚊 Transport & Costs Train from airport to city: ₪9.5 (~$2.60). Local buses/trams: ₪6 (~$1.65) per ride—cheaper than the UK! But… Tel Aviv’s prices are NO JOKE: Meals/supermarkets ≈ 1.5x UK prices, 3x Tokyo. (War + inflation hits hard.) #TelAviv #IsraelTravel #VisaFreeIsrael #DevelopedWorldTravel
