Texas, Dallas in March: Caddo Lake

🍂Stop 1: A Romantic Encounter in Tyler, the Rose Capital Early in the morning, we set off from Dallas and drove for over 3 hours, stopping by Tyler on the way. Rose Museum & Gift Shop: Since it was March and the roses hadn't bloomed yet, we visited the small museum inside. The admission fee was $3.5. Tyler is famously known as the "Rose Capital" of the United States, and the Rose Museum is a great place to learn about the city's connection to roses. 🔋The museum showcased the history of the Rose Festival, the gowns of past Rose Queens, and many precious photos and documents. After touring the museum, we browsed the adjacent Gift Shop, which had a variety of rose-themed souvenirs, trinkets, and unique fragrances. 🌳Stop 2: The Retro-Chic Kennedy Manor Next, we arrived at the Kennedy Manor Bed & Breakfast. This inn is very distinctive, exuding a strong vintage charm, and the tranquil surroundings make it perfect for relaxation. The innkeeper warmly introduced us to the facilities. The breakfast provided was fresh and delicious. ✨ Although the sound insulation was a bit lacking, the ambiance was lovely! It's a great spot for taking photos. There are restaurants, convenience stores, and gift shops just a few minutes' walk away. We dined at 1852 on Austin, where both the food and the atmosphere were great. We ordered a non-alcoholic strawberry drink, which was delightfully tangy and sweet. The steak with fries was also delicious. #Dallas #Caddo
