Texas|2 Days in San Antonio – Eat & Drink Edition 🥘🍹

We spent 4 days eating and drinking our way through San Antonio and Houston — and in just 2 days in San Antonio, we checked off 9 spots! Let’s go 😋🔥 1⃣️ Arirang Restaurant After picking up our rental car 🚗 close to midnight, choices were limited, so we went with this Korean spot. The japchae was slightly sweet but tasty, and the kimchi tofu soup hit the spot after a flight — warm and comforting 🍲✈️. 2⃣️ Domingo Restaurant A lovely spot right by the river! Went around 11 AM — no wait 😌. The shrimp cocktail was beautifully presented and refreshing. Fish tacos had tender fish, and we tried the Mai Tai Mimosa & Passionfruit Margarita — both pretty strong 🍹💥. 3⃣️ Freshest Ice Creams A Colombian & Brazilian-style ice cream shop with tons of unique flavors 🍦🌎. Fresh, rich fruit flavors, not too sweet, and barely any artificial taste — highly recommend! 💯 4⃣️ Bakery Lorraine at the Pearl Perfect for a coffee ☕ and a French pastry while chatting the afternoon away 🥐💬. 5⃣️ Cured Walking in, you see whole hams hanging at the entrance 🐷✨. Great for cheese & charcuterie boards. The beer mussels were good — plump and simmered in light beer broth, served with fries 🍟. 6⃣️ Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko Tried the Maiko Special — the matcha was smooth, slightly bitter but balanced 🍵. Came with mochi, red bean, matcha cake, and corn flakes — a nice little combo! 7⃣️ Durty Nelly's Irish Pub Back to the River Walk at night for some lively vibes 🍻🎶. Even past 11 PM, it was buzzing! Cozy pub with local beers, Irish whiskey, and a pianist taking requests — super fun atmosphere! 8⃣️ La Panadería Bakery Café Popular bakery known for its Concha (kinda like a pineapple bun 🍍) — pretty good! The almond croissant was a tad sweet for me. Opens at 7 AM — early birds, rejoice! 9⃣️ Toro Kitchen Came for the paella — waited about 30 mins 🥘⏳. Worth it — nicely charred and fragrant. Also tried the squid ink garlic octopus, though it was a bit salty. #Texas #SanAntonio #FoodExploration #TravelEats #FoodieTrip
