Thai Cuisine in Geneva, Switzerland🇨🇭
Today I want to share about a really great Thai restaurant in Geneva, Switzerland: Na village. From the moment you step in, you can feel the attention to detail. The restaurant perfectly recreates the exotic atmosphere of Southeast Asia. Everything from the tableware to the overall environment is meticulously designed, even down to the wooden carved doors in the restrooms. 🌴 There are also traditional Thai "relaxing pavilions" where you can dine, giving you a strong sense of Thai tropical charm. If it weren't for the foreign people around and the foreign languages being spoken, you'd really feel like you're in Thailand. 😍 And in this high-rent area of Geneva, they've boldly built quite a few courtyard pavilions. Outdoor dining is highly recommended in the summer. It's not as hot as in Thailand, and there aren't as many annoying little bugs buzzing around while you eat. 🫣 For the meal, four of us ordered a set menu. It cost 95 francs per person, including drinks. There was a plate of fried items: fried shrimp, fried fish fillets, fried spring rolls, fried dumplings, and fried chicken skewers. Everything was served in double portions, just enough for us to taste everything. The fried items were substantial, and most of us were almost full just from those. For the main course, we had various meat curries. The staff specially recommended trying them in order: lamb red curry, beef red curry, duck red curry, chicken coconut green curry, and shrimp special red curry, all served with Thai jasmine rice. Personally, I don't eat lamb or beef, so I just tasted a little bit of the first two. I'm not a fan of duck, so I skipped that one. The chicken coconut curry was my favorite—it was spicy but incredibly fragrant. As for the shrimp, there were only two pieces. 😅 Overall, the food was delicious and fresh. The tableware was very thoughtful, made of copper, which kept the food warm very well. We all felt full (even my 187-cm-tall husband was stuffed). The only downside was the lack of vegetables. After eating so much meat, we really missed having some greens to balance it out. 😥 I'd give this place four stars out of five. I'll definitely come back to try more. If you're visiting Geneva or living here in Switzerland, I highly recommend coming to Na village, especially in the evenings or on weekends when you might even get to see traditional Thai dance performances.😊 #Switzerland #ThaiCuisine #Geneva #GenevaFood #Recommendation #MyFoodDiary #FoodieDaily #FoodShare #FoodieAdventures
