Thai Cuisine in Geneva, Switzerland

Today, I want to share a fantastic Thai restaurant in Geneva, Switzerland: Na Village. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the attention to detail. The restaurant perfectly recreates the exotic atmosphere of Southeast Asia. Everything, from the tableware to the overall environment, even the wooden carved doors in the restrooms, adds to the authentic feel. There are also traditional Thai pavilions where you can dine, giving you a strong sense of Thai and Southeast Asian charm. If it weren’t for the foreign accents and languages around you, you’d almost feel like you’ve been transported to Thailand. Despite the high rents in Geneva, the restaurant has built several courtyard pavilions. Outdoor dining is highly recommended in the summer. It’s not as hot as in Thailand, and there are fewer annoying insects to bother you while you eat.đŸ«Ł For the food, we were four people and ordered a set meal. The average cost per person was 95 CHF, including drinks. We had a platter of fried items, including fried shrimp, fried fish fillets, spring rolls, dumplings, and chicken skewers—all in generous portions. Most of us were already 80% full just from the fried dishes. The main courses were various meat curries. The staff recommended trying them in order: Lamb red curry Beef red curry Duck red curry Chicken coconut green curry Shrimp special red curry These were served with Thai jasmine rice. Personally, I don’t eat lamb or beef, so I just tasted a bit of the first two. I skipped the duck since it’s not my favorite. The chicken coconut curry was my favorite—it was spicy but incredibly fragrant. There were only two shrimp, which was a bit disappointing.😅 Overall, the food was delicious and fresh. The tableware was very thoughtful, made of copper, which kept the food warm very well. We all felt very full (even my 187 cm tall husband was stuffed). The only downside was the lack of vegetables. After eating so much meat, we missed having some greens to balance it out.đŸ˜„ I’m giving this place four stars out of five. I would definitely come back to try more. If you’re visiting Geneva or living in Switzerland and have the chance to go to Geneva, I highly recommend this place. You might even get to see traditional Thai dance performances in the evenings or on weekends.😊 📍Na Village Rue de Saint-Jean 57, 1203 GenĂšve, Switzerland Reservations are a must, as they might not have space otherwise.đŸ€” #Switzerland #ThaiCuisine #Geneva #GenevaFood #Recommendation #MyFoodDiary #FoodieDaily #FoodShare #RestaurantReview
