The Austrian Cuisine in Campbell--Naschmarkt Restaurant - Campbell
π Naschmarkt Restaurant, Campbell Austrian cuisine blended with the characteristics of surrounding countries, focusing on meats and pasta. There were no surprises at this restaurant; from the pre-meal bread to the appetizers and main courses, we had four types of pasta. Classic dishes include fried pork cutlets and sausages. π Seasonal Appetizer $22 A rabbit meat sauce that's not on the menu, with the meat cooked until it falls apart and mixed with offal, which is neither strong-smelling nor fishy, but soft and smooth, with a surprisingly large-grained tuna can texture. Served with crispy bread slices and tangy pickled vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, and cauliflower to cut through the richness. The sweet and sour apricot sauce on the plate is also a highlight. π Spring Rabbit $49 π Roasted rabbit legs that are more elastic than chicken legs, especially flavorful where they connect to the skin. π Hungarian Beef Goulash $42 Braised beef shoulder with red pepper powder served with spΓ€tzle; the only distinctive feature is the incorporation of cheese pasta, and the sauce has a bean aroma. It's worth trying but not recommended. π Sides Pretzel with Mustard $12 Savory pretzel + sweet mustard with brown mustard seeds. 384 E Campbell Ave., Campbell, CA 95008 #Campbell#Naschmarkt Restaurant - Campbell #Austrian Cuisine#food diary
