The 2025 Fleet Week Air Show Will Go On In San Francisco —This Time With The Canadian Snowbirds

San Francisco Fleet Week is one of the city’s most anticipated events, with large crowds gathering to watch the iconic airshow . Due to the government shutdown this year, we won’t be hearing the familiar roar of the Blue Angels overhead, but the airshow will continue. Luckily, the Canadian Snowbirds have agreed to perform this weekend with a nine-jet formation . San Franciscans can also expect the Patriots Jet Team, a civilian-owned jet team known for acrobatic tricks mid-flight. The Marina Green is a prime viewing spot for the show, with tickets available for box seats and flight deck seats. Otherwise, many San Franciscans will view the show from Chrissy Field as the planes fly over the bay by the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. While the government shutdown will also stop Navy ships from participating in the Parade of Ships , the event will still happen on Friday morning.
