The Best Pho in Cincinnati
🍜 The Best Pho in Cincinnati? My Food Adventure After Leaving Minnesota 🥢😋 Hey there, food lovers 👋 I’ve been living in Cincinnati for about a year now, after moving here from Minnesota — and if there’s one thing I truly miss, it’s the Vietnamese pho I used to enjoy back home. Let me tell you, the Vietnamese food scene in Minnesota, especially in the Twin Cities, is absolutely incredible. The pho was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the prices were shockingly reasonable. I’m talking about rich, aromatic broth, perfectly cooked rice noodles, tender slices of beef or pork, and those fresh herb-filled spring rolls that just hit different. And the best part? It didn’t cost a fortune. I took it for granted every single day 😭. Now, don’t get me wrong — Cincinnati is a wonderful city. It’s got great neighborhoods, friendly people, a growing food culture, and plenty of charm. But when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, and especially pho, the options here are… well, let’s just say they’re pretty limited. I’ve been on a little mission ever since I got here to find a bowl of pho that could come close to what I used to enjoy back in Minnesota. I’ve tried several Vietnamese restaurants around town, and today I want to share my honest thoughts and personal experiences — including which ones are worth your time, and which ones you might want to skip. 🥇 Pho96 – The Best Pho I’ve Found in Cincinnati So Far 🏆 After testing out a few different spots, Pho96 is hands down my favorite Vietnamese pho restaurant in Cincinnati. I’ve been here multiple times now, and every visit has been a solid experience. Of all the places I’ve tried, Pho96 is definitely the best. The pho broth is rich, savory, and full of aromatic depth — it’s exactly the kind of comforting soup I was craving. I’ve also tried their spicy beef and pork noodle soup, which was surprisingly flavorful, and their fresh spring rolls are light, fresh, and make a great appetizer or side. 🥢✨ That said, I did have one small issue during one visit. On that day, my pho arrived with noodles that weren’t fully cooked — some were still stuck together and had a slightly tough, gummy texture. Not the experience you want when you’re craving a warm, slurpable bowl of soup 😩. I politely asked the staff if they could remake the bowl with softer noodles, and they were totally understanding. They actually fixed it right away, no questions asked. So my tip? If you’re like me and prefer your noodles on the softer side, just ask for “softer noodles, please” when you order. It makes a big difference! #CincinnatiEats #PhoHunt #Pho96 #VietnameseFood #PhoReview #AsianFoodie #NoodlesOverEverything #FoodieLife #ExpatsInCincinnati #NorthAmericaFood #SoupLover #PhoAddict #ComfortFood #NorthAmericanLife
