The Best Pho in San Diego

The other day, I went with a friend to grab a bite in Convoy and ended up at Pho Lucky. I’d heard about this place several times before, and finally got to try it. As soon as we stepped inside, the familiar aroma of beef broth filled the air, mixed with the fresh scent of mint and basil. The restaurant isn’t very big, but it’s clean and was packed during peak dining hours. We ordered the signature raw beef pho, which came with all the usual toppings. While waiting for the pho, we tried their Thai Tea—and wow, it was absolutely amazing! 🧋 The tea flavor was rich, the milkiness was just right, and the sweetness was perfectly balanced without being too heavy. I’m usually pretty picky about Thai tea, but this one was truly next level! 👍 My friend agreed it was one of the best he’s ever had. When the pho arrived, the broth was clear and flavorful. The beef slices were thin and cooked perfectly in the hot soup, tender and delicious. The noodles were smooth, and adding bean sprouts, basil, and a squeeze of lime made it just right. 😌 It was a pleasant surprise to find such an authentic bowl of pho here in San Diego. After the meal, both my friend and I felt satisfied. The price was reasonable too—around $15–16 per person for a bowl of pho and a drink. Overall, Pho Lucky is definitely a solid choice. That Thai tea alone is worth coming back for! ❤️ If you’re in SD and craving a warm, comforting bowl of pho along with an amazing Thai tea, this place is well worth a visit. #SanDiegoEats #SanDiegoFoodie #PhoLucky #VietnameseFood
