Headed up north today, so last night I was scouting for hidden gems on the map — and found this Turkish grill with a 4.8⭐ rating and over 517 reviews! The pictures showed something special: you pick your skewers, and they fire-grill them over charcoal. I literally dreamt about this meal overnight 😂 And after trying it? I’m calling it one of the greatest affordable eats in North York. 🙌 📍 Kebapci Serdar & Naci Street Food 1101 Finch Ave W Unit 7A, North York Walk in and you’re hit with that smoky charcoal aroma 🔥 The fridge is packed with giant skewers — Adana kebab (minced lamb/beef), lamb, chicken, beef liver, chicken wings… all ready for the fire. Normally you need 4 skewers to make a platter, but today we only got one lamb and one chicken wing skewer… and they still gave us a HUGE plate 🥹 It came with massive salad, fresh baked naan, and grilled Jamaican hot pepper 🌶️ If you order just one skewer, it comes as a wrap — grilled naan rolled with salad and your meat. One bite and you taste the fire… so so good! (How do I know? I also got an Adana kebab to-go 😉) Now the main event: grilled lamb and chicken wings 🤤 Both were incredibly tender, full of smoky flavor. The naan was hot, soft, and chewy. Wrap it all with the salad, meat, and spicy grilled pepper — perfection!
