The Boston Turtles are finally here

🌶️ Mountain House Boston: Sichuan Spice That Fixed My NYC Food Trauma Let’s be honest: New York left me with some serious Sichuan food scars 😅. But after a friend begged (and begged, and begged), I finally caved—and man, am I glad I did. This Boston spot? Way better than my three underwhelming runs with that “Chuanshanjia” chain. 🍴 The Eats: Spicy, Savory, Total Redemption Liangyi White Meat: 🥢 The dipping sauce is king. Paper-thin pork slices, but the real star is the sauce—garlicky, oily, spicy red goodness that seeps into every bite. Addictive, and way more flavorful than I anticipated. Chopped Chili Fish Head: 🌶️ Fair warning: It’s fiery. Delicious, but intensely spicy—like, “nose-running, lips-tingling” spicy. The tender fish and tangy chili kick make it worth it, though—just keep water handy. Wonton Soup: 🥣 Spice savior. Light broth, plump wontons—perfect for cooling your mouth between bites of chili. Total lifesaver when the heat gets too real. Scallion Chicken: 🐔 Numbing + spicy = beer fuel. Sichuan peppercorn tingle + fiery chili oil—bold, zesty, and ideal with a cold beer 🍻. 🍵 Little Wins Service was a touch slow, but the staff was super friendly—and the free hot tea? 🍵 Fragrant, soothing, and great for cutting through the spice. No fancy extras, just solid Sichuan food that makes you forget past food fails. 📍 Mountain House Boston: 89 Brighton Ave Retail A. If you love spice (and need to overwrite bad NYC memories), this is your spot. #BostonSichuan #SpiceTherapy #FoodRedemption
