The Country’s Largest Holiday Projection Mapping Light Show Turns SF Buildings Into Festive Works Of Art — And It’s Completely Free

The Downtown SF Partnership is bringing back ***Let’s Glow SF*** for its fifth annual rendition this winter! From **December 5-14, 2025**, the city’s Financial District will be transformed with **glowing art and light projections** to celebrate the [holiday season](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/holiday-things-to-do-sf/). *Let’s Glow SF* is completely free to experience from **5:30 to 10pm each evening**. This year also includes a few **kick-off events** and more festivities — keep reading for details. The largest holiday projection mapping show in the United States ---------------------------------------------------------------- *Let’s Glow SF* showcases work from **19 world-class artists and international visual design companies**, each of whom lends a distinct interpretation of the holiday season to their massive canvases. Some works play on the architecture of the buildings themselves. Belgian artist Glitch presents *Aeva* at the Pacific Exchange, where you can watch an **ethereal deity of winter** redrawing the building with frost and ice. Whereas Jacob Stephens, a local artist from San Rafael, turns all of the *Let’s Glow* buildings into **larger-than-life gingerbread houses**. Other installations use the buildings as a canvas for **compelling visual storylines.** Indonesian team Bandung presents *The Fox, The Folks* at the Ferry Building, which follows a lone fox through a journey of celebration and renewal. And French team Les Ateliers BK’s *Bay of Light* explores the **heritage of the East Cut coastline**, projected onto the facade of the PG&E Substation on Folsom Street. After Glow kick-off celebration ------------------------------- On December 5th, the first night of *Let’s Glow SF*, attendees can join a **free “After Glow” celebration** at the [Ferry Building](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/ferry-building-guide/). **From 5-8pm,** the Marketplace will welcome guests with holiday music, festive decor, complimentary hot beverages, strolling drag performers, a pop-up h0liday bar, and a **free silent disco** on the South Plaza. The event features “**Countdown to Glow”** beginning at 6pm, culminating in the ceremonial **“flipping the switch” at 7pm** with city officials.
