The dessert was served with a flower on top.
We never expected that a casual meal at the restaurant downstairs from our hotel would turn out to be the best we've had so far. After so many days in Italy, we've rarely come across truly delicious meals. We've tried to seek out highly-rated restaurants, but often the dishes are either unbearably salty, like risotto or braised meats, or completely flavorless, like raw fish, beef tartare, or roasted vegetables.❤️❤️❤️ This restaurant, however, offers a bit of creative cuisine, and you can tell that the chef puts thought into each dish.😍😍😍 - The black sesame tuna is a standout. The surface is slightly grilled, and the sauce beneath it has a flavor reminiscent of a McDonald's burger, giving it a high-end version of a Big Mac feel. - The pan-fried fish, whether it was sea bass or swordfish, is excellent. The exterior is coated with a bit of flour and fried to a crispy finish, while the inside remains tender. Highly recommended.😻😻😻 - The mushrooms , whether as a side dish or ordered separately, are way too salty and not recommended.💕💕💕 - The truffle pasta is decent with generous use of ingredients, but it does get a bit greasy towards the end. - For dessert, I initially thought I ordered a Napoleon cake since the English menu listed it as mille feuille. To my surprise, a flower-shaped dessert arrived, which turned out to be a traditional Italian sweet. It features a custard base with an orange or grapefruit sauce, offering a sweet, tangy, and slightly bitter flavor. 📍 Binomio Firenze Via Jacopo da Diacceto, 16/20, Florence, Tuscany, 50123, Italy #ItalianCuisine #FlorenceTravel #FlorenceFood #FlorenceEats #CreativeDishes #ItalyTravel #ItalianDelights
