The exhibition at the National Gallery is surrounded by cuteness
🌟Celebrating the 600th anniversary of the National Gallery, the UK, Van Gogh’s works have been borrowed from the Netherlands, France, Canada, Indonesia, and elsewhere for a special exhibition. It’s also the 100th anniversary of the purchase of Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” and “Chair” (these two paintings are usually on free display in the hall, but they are moved in especially for the special exhibition). 🌟 Theme: Poet or Lover In the last two years of his life, Van Gogh went to Provence in the south of France in search of inspiration, planning to return to Paris for an exhibition. During this period, he painted a large number of natural landscapes such as parks, and many of his masterpieces were created during this time. He believed that paintings needed a lot of color, so the paintings from this period are very colorful. 🌟Room 1: The Poet or The Lover Room 2: The Garden, where the sunlight is represented by concentric circles Room 3: The Yellow House, in the bedroom painting, there is a self-portrait on the wall, which is his other self-portrait work. Room 4: Montmajour Room 5: Decoration Room 6: Variations on a Theme 🌟There is also a painting depicting a winter snowscape, placed in the general exhibition hall, which is a rare piece and feels quite different from the usual style. 🌟The biggest surprise is the gift shop; I really love the vase with Van Gogh’s sunflowers, taking it home feels like you have a perfect replica of the painting right in front of you. However, the quality of the socks with sunflowers painted on them doesn’t seem great; maybe it’s better to buy from my trusted online store for something cheaper and better quality. #London #VanGogh #NationalGalleryUK #VanGoghsSunflowers #MustVisitMuseums #WinterTravelBucketList
