The Fleeting Autumn of Seattle

🥰Though Washington is known as the "Evergreen State," the essence of autumn is still deeply felt here. Friends visiting from Los Angeles often say they love how you can experience all four seasons here. Yet, all I wish for is a bit more sunshine in Seattle this coming winter. ✨Grass is always greener on the other side —perhaps it’s our shared longing for what we don’t have that makes us human. 🩷While others admire the golden leaves and crisp air of our fall,I find myself dreaming of sunlit winter mornings and the warmth they might bring. Seattle’s autumn is beautiful, but brief —a gentle reminder to cherish the fleeting moments of color and calm before the gray settles in.
