The Geneva Tourism Board didn’t deceive me‼️
When I searched for Geneva cuisine on , I saw the Geneva Tourism Board’s recommendation for “Café de Paris - Chez Boubier.” 🌟 I was very curious about what kind of restaurant could have been in business since 1930, so I decided to go and try it out. 💪 @Geneva Tourism Board There is no menu, only a drinks list, because the main course of this restaurant is the Entrecôte de bœuf (180g) — garlic butter beef rib steak. 🍖 Each person is served a set meal by default (appetizer: salad, main course: one piece of beef rib steak, side dish: fries that can be refilled for free). The waiter will ask about the steak’s doneness. They recommend medium-rare. When the steak arrives, it’s almost completely raw inside, but as the garlic butter melts slowly at the bottom, the steak reaches just the right 30% doneness. Start with the thinner middle part, then move on to the thicker ends. By the time you finish the whole plate, the doneness is perfect. 🥳 My favorite bottled Coca-Cola costs 5.6 Swiss francs. When I turned the bottle around and saw it was made in Switzerland, I understood. 🫡 💡 About the restaurant: ⏰ Operating hours: Monday to Sunday, 8:30–23:00 📍 Address: Rue du Mont-Blanc 26, 1201 Genève 💰 Price: Set meal at 45 Swiss francs per person #GlobalFoodChallenge #AuthenticFoodOnTheRoad #SpotlightPlan #GenevaCuisine #SwissTravelTips #OldMoneyStyleRestaurant #UnboxingInternetFamousRestaurants
