The Great Duck Leg Battle: Toro vs. Dali 🦆⚔️

If we're just comparing duck legs, Dali wins hands down‼️ Just to clarify—I'd happily revisit both restaurants. Dali serves the best duck I've had all year, while my review of Toro might be a bit unfair since I was avoiding certain foods due to illness (I skipped the paella and alcoholic drinks). 🍽️ Toro Maybe it was because of my cold, but everything tasted a bit too salty to me, especially the mushrooms 😅 (and it's hard to mess up mushrooms!). The garlic shrimp was the standout dish 🦐. Although the sauce for the smoked duck leg was good, the duck itself lacked distinct flavor. The non-alcoholic herbal mocktail was amazing 🌿, and their drink menu looks promising. Service-wise, I had a reservation for the first seating at 5 PM—it was already quite busy, and the tables felt a bit cramped. The vibe leaned more toward a bar. The first round of dishes came quickly, but the extra order of corn took forever 🌽. 🍽️ Dali Duck leg! Duck leg! The plum-glazed duck leg was absolutely divine 🌟!! The braised rabbit was just average 🐇—give it a try if you prefer tender, slow-cooked meat. We ordered a small portion of paella, which was simple but well-executed (Toro's version is more elaborate and includes chicken). The drinks were good 🍷 (I drank a bit too much that night due to a bad mood, so I don't remember the exact flavors, but my friend's red wine was just okay). The desserts were average. We walked in around 8 PM on a weekday, and the restaurant was about half full. Conclusion: For duck legs, definitely choose Dali; for ambiance and drinks, Toro is worth a try~ #BostonLife #BostonFood #BostonSpanishCuisine #toro #dali #BostonRestaurants
